So, here's one of the coolest apps I've seen in awhile...NASA Spacecraft 3D! This is an application that lets you learn about and get a 3D look at a variety of spacecraft that are used to explore our Solar System. This Free app is easily searchable in iTunes and works great on iPads, iPhones and iPods alike. Launch it to request an Augmented Reality(AR) Marker that will be emailed to you, just about instantaneously. You will need to print this marker out and set it on a flat surface. Now...aim your device's camera to the marker and set back and enjoy a 3D spectacle that will blow your mind...truly remarkable!! Arms and controllers can be manipulated with the touch of your screen, as well as a dynamic 360 view of each of the vehicles. Update the app from time to time, as new images are constantly being added. Each of the vehicles has an 'information' button, where you can learn specs, details and histories! This app and the experience are perfect for K-12...and adults alike!
