Microsoft 365....Let's Talk OneNote!

At School, we migrated over to Microsoft 365!  It was all quite seamless and with very few kinks!   Email...easy!  Calendar....easy! Creating Documents...no issue. Clouding...a snap!  And now, add in OneNote - what a wonderful program! It's like combining several cool tools into one.  Think collaboration, virtual classroom, and a whole host of meaningful possibilities. And one other great part?  It's free

Check out these Interactive Guides that go into complete detail about how this program works for Administration, Teachers and for Students.  Nicely done, Microsoft...nicely done!

Essentially, in OneNote, you create a virtual 3-ring binder with all sorts of tabs inside.  These tabs separate sections, like in a real notebook. Sections can be different topics, etc. All of the created binders are set on 'the bookshelf', easily accessible, easily editable, easily shareable and syncs right up to the cloud with no issue...so you can take them wherever you roam.  Right off the bat, I'm thinking a binder for each Staff Member for Administration.  For Teachers, one binder for each Student or for each subject taught.  For Students, it's where you go for homework, to share documents with your teacher and so much more.  I also like the fact that you can share items with Parents, even before they leave the School after a Parent/Teacher meeting!  Great stuff!

Some of the cool features include, adding pictures, record audio within the program, handwritten notes, adding screen clippings that include links to webpages, drag & drop items, different types of 'paper' (graph paper) within the program....just to name a few!  Several people can also collaborate on a document, as well, at once....and there is no limit to collaborators! WOW...now that's a nice feature!

I'm really jazzed about this program.  I think Microsoft has really hit it out of the park with OneNote.

Again...nicely done...nicely done!
