It's funny sometimes that I'll get requests for programs or apps that come at the same time from a variety of grade levels. I wonder....did I miss an email or is this the newest trend? Such was the case these last couple of weeks with the request for a Stop Motion application. Teachers were wanting to use the app for digital storytelling, to show the live cycles of a frog and one group of students wanted to use it to demonstrate their Genius Hour project.
I'm a big fan of
Stop Motion Studio by the folks at Cateater, LLC. It is an Free app that is designed for both iPhone and iPad users. The makers tout their app as the 'world's easiest app' and you wouldn't believe how true of a statement that is. Simply aim the camera, click, record, add texts, graphics, etc. and then download or share to the various social media outlets. It is just that simple. I rate this application for late Kinder-Friends and up.
